The world’s smallest autocorrelator
Ultrafast pulse measurement in an ultra-compact format
The µ-ROC is an ultra-compact single-shot autocorrelator designed for fast and reliable femtosecond pulse duration measurements. Its miniature footprint makes it easy to integrate into laser systems, industrial machines and medical equipment, or to use wherever space is limited. Combining straightforward alignment, robust design and accurate measurements, µ-ROC brings ultrafast pulse characterization beyond the optical table.

All models
Input polarization: linear horizontal or vertical
Detection: CMOS 12 Bits
PC Interface: USB 3.1
Beam height: 20 mm
1 Pulse duration
The two minimum pulse duration values correspond to the Fourier limited pulse duration with and without GDD precompensation
2 Input average power / pulse energy min
Values give an order of magnitude, exact sensitivity depends on parameters such as pulse duration, repetition rate, beam diameter, wavelength…
3 Single-pulse
Up to 100 kHz laser repetition rate with Trigger option, 50 kHz without
Optional features
Trigger
Synchronizes µ-ROC detection with an external signal for accurate single-pulse extraction up to 36 kHz, or up to 125 kHz when combined with the Enhanced Detection option.
High dynamic range
Software mode that increases the dynamic range of µ-ROC signal acquisition from 12 to 16 bits. This mode is not compatible with true single-shot measurements, as two images are required to generate one autocorrelation trace.
Enhanced detection
Upgrades the standard ROC camera to a higher-performance detector, providing improved temporal resolution and single-shot extraction up to 125 kHz when combined with the Trigger option.
