BeamPro Laser Beam Profilers

Beam Profilers allow the measurement of the entire optical intensity profile of laser beams. They not only retrieve the beam diameter and position, but also the full spatial shape of the beam. Femto Easy offers the most comprehensive range of laser beam profilers so that any application and requirement can be covered. Starting from less than 2,500€ including the full software, provided with an automatic update feature, ensuring users to always have the latest version, for free, effortlessly … and lifetime.

Product reviews

We use the ROC single-shot autocorrelator and the BeamPro laser beam profiler from Femto Easy. Those systems are robust and easy to use, hence perfect for a laboratory use with multiple users.

Thanks to the ease of use of the single-shot ROC Autocorrelator and the BeamPro Laser Beam Profiler, our approach of beam characterization changed dramatically. Given the speed with which reliable results can be obtained and the robustness of the devices, we now use our two Femto Easy instruments for the monitoring of several machines. Technicians can be trained on those devices within an hour thanks to the comprehensive, but non-daunting, manuals. The STAR software is excellent on its own right, and the API makes it simple to integrate Femto Easy devices in our interface.

The BeamPro and MS-ROC Autocorrelator are well equipped to characterize the fs laser for our research lab. The BeamPro provides good quality images and great tracking for beam stability. The MS-ROC has a clear design and is easy to align and measure the pulse width of the beam. The information is saved in convenient formats for further analysis. The STAR software has a clean and customizable interface, yet is packed with features. We appreciate how Femto Easy has implemented our suggestions for improving the software. We look forward to using this equipment for characterizing and monitoring our broad range output OPA and SHG beamlines as we build and use our pump-probe laser system for photoemission orbital cinematography.

We got the opportunity to try different models of BeamPro for our IR, green and UV lasers and all the cameras meet our specifications. Each camera has its own differentiation, from LP6.3 with its tiny pixels, to BP12.12 with its large sensor. The STAR software is easy to use, intuitive, and very responsive compared to other laser beam profiler suppliers

I’m in charge of an instrumental platform comprising several experimental benches based on multiple femtosecond laser sources (35-200 fs, 400 nm to 2.6 µm wavelength). I therefore purchased two Femto Easy products (a beam profiler and a single-shot FROG) to characterize the beams. Their wavelength flexibility, ease of use and speed are real assets. We regularly use the FROG when building new setups to check the evolution of our pulse widths or to adjust our pre-compensation setups. Those instruments have become essential tools on our platform.

We are using large area beam profilers for the alignment of the optical paths in our machines. The software is easy to use and very intuitive. The combination of the large sensor area with the relatively small footprint of the camera helps a lot for installing the camera in industrial machines where the space is limited. In addition to the cameras, we are also using the ROC autocorrelator. The device is easy to align and perfectly suited for temporary installation in a machine, due to its compact size. In case of problems and questions, the customer support of Femto Easy is reactive and provides good solutions.
